Dear John, Mistie, & Colin, I was so sorry to hear about Francis passing. She was a sweet lady and I always enjoyed doing her hair and visiting with her. I know you all will miss her but I know she's in heaven celebrating. My condolences to you all . I will keep you all in my prayers

Frances M. Coovert, 86, of Wichita Falls joined her Savior in heaven Thursday, April 3, 2025.
The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. Monday, April 7, 2025 at Owens and Brumley Funeral Home in Wichita Falls. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, April 8, 2025 in the Chapel of Owens and Brumley Funeral Home with Bro. Jim Lamb, officiating. Interment will follow at Burkburnett Memorial Cemetery.
Frances was born on January 9, 1939 in Burkburnett to the late John S. and Lorean F. (Alvey) Gibson. She attended Sam Houston State University, and was a retired bookkeeper and office manager. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. She taught Sunday School at West Side, and Colonial Baptist churches as well.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
She is survived by son John Coovert and wife Mistie of Wichita Falls; and grandson Collin Coovert.
