Jimmy and Renee. Lynne and I did not Ms. Frances left you until late Friday afternoon on our way to Hammond. Very sorrry we could not be for a hug and offer out sympathies. We have crossed trails with Ebarb tribe many times over the years. All positive. We still miss Sam's, especially the fried chickekn. Again, our sympathies to the Ebarb family for your sad loss.

Jimmy...Haven't seen either of you in so many years. We have so many fond memories of Sam's Steak House during a time when dining was truly at its finest. You two were so devoted to each other. My brother Alan and I send heartfelt condolences and prayers for you and your entire family.

Frances's Obituary

A resident of Independence, LA, passed away on Sunday, July 13, 2025 at Belle Maison Nursing Home in Hammond, LA. She was born November 3, 1941 in Independence, LA and was 83 years of age. She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Jimmy Earl Ebarb; daughter, Katherine Renee Cernich (Daniel); sister, Mary Lou Hendry; brother, Peter Joseph Arnone (Joan); grandchildren, Cobie James Cernich (Laura), Joseph Cade Cernich (Grace), Tyler Dan Ebarb, and Kyle Ebarb; great-grandchildren, Landon Joseph Cernich, Annaleigh Grace Cernich, and Kynnedy Ann Ebarb; nieces and nephews, Donna Lynn Davidson (Les), Shannon Badely (Rod), Rhonda Jo Martin (Kenny), Roxanne Ridgel, Mary Ann Bourgoyne, Gary Bourgoyne, Sharon Bourgoyne Smith, Janice Bourgoyne, and also many more nieces, nephews, and close friends. Preceded in death by her mother, Josephine Rispone Arnone; father, Sam Peter Arnone; and son, Samuel Dan “Bobo” Ebarb. Visitation at McKneely Funeral Home, Amite from 8:30AM until 10:30AM with Funeral Mass at St. Helena Catholic Church at 11:00AM on Friday, July 18, 2025. Interment Amite Memorial Gardens, Amite, LA.
