East Providence – Frances A. (Paine) McSally, 93, passed away on Wednesday, December 30, 2015. She was the wife of the late Joseph F. McSally. Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Francis, Sr. and Mary (Touhey) Paine. Frances and her husband resided in Rhode Island most of their lives until moving to Brewster, MA on Cape Cod where they lived for over 20 years. She worked for Cape Cod Five Bank for 20 years until her retirement. Frances enjoyed music, playing Bridge and traveling. She also enjoyed following the NE Patriots, Boston Red Sox and PC Friars. Frances leaves a daughter, Frances A. Champagne and her husband, Robert of Seekonk; a son, Michael J. McSally and his wife, Anne of Greenland, NH; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late George Paine, John Paine, Francis Paine, Jr. and Kathleen Ryan. The family is deeply appreciative of the entire staff at Winslow Gardens and Linn Heath Care Center for their loving and tender care given to Frances. VISITATION will begin on Monday at 10 a.m. at WILLIAM W. TRIPP Funeral Home, 1008 Newport Ave., Pawtucket, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at Noon at St. Teresa Church, 358 Newport Ave. Burial at the Massachusetts National Cemetery will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts to Home & Hospice Care of RI, 1085 North Main St., Providence, RI 02904 or Linn Health Care Center, 30 Alexander Ave., East Providence, RI 02914 will be appreciated.
