Not sure what to say?

Just found out about your passing. Remembering all those times but especially Duke vs Carolina March 2 1974. Eight points in 17 seconds. Will never forget that day at Carmichael Auditorium. Thank you so much for that memory .

Frances was one of a kind colleague, & just a special person.! I am grateful I had the opportunity to work with Frances @ McKim & Creed, she'd always greet everyone with a smile, even if her Tar Heels had a tough loss, the night before. Although I haven't seen Frances in many years, I'm sure she, is the same in heaven as she was here. She will certainly be missed..!

That Smile was infectious. She would greet me with a hug when I saw her. She is missed.

Even though I had lost touch with Frances through the years after our PCHS Marching Unit high school days, I always loved hearing about her adventures and accomplishments on her life’s many wonderful journeys. She was just one of those very special people whose laughter and joy touched you in a very unique way and I thought the world of her..A very special light that has left us much too soon. Please know that many prayers and wonderful memories are being shared during such a sad time.

I was Frances and Carls pet sitter for over ten years when they had Gomer. I am heartbroken to hear of her passing. Being a true Duke fan, we had fun giving each other a hard time when Duke and UNC played. I will miss her terribly.

Martha and Edmond.. I was so sorry to hear about Frances. My thoughts and prayers are with you.. a lot of memories in school. Also with your grandma and granddaddy in the old historical house!

May the love of friends and family carry you through your grief.

We met Frances while working at McKim & Creed. She was always so patient, focused, efficient, and kind. Her consistent calmness provided a steadying contribution to projects. Frances’ warmth, generosity and merry spirit endure in our fond memory of her.

She was always smiling. On a recent visit to Wilmington, I stopped into visit her at Steel Site. We had worked together for 10 years over 30 years ago, but Frances made it feel like yesterday when we talked. I departed with a big Frances hug. She was treasured by all her knew her. She will be missed.
