Francis “Frank” Roncone
Frank Roncone of Rocky Point, NC passed away at Novant New Hanover Regional Medical Center on March 12, 2024, in Wilmington, NC. Frank was born and raised in Warsaw, NY, the son of Sam and Antonette Roncone. After Graduating from high school Frank enlisted in the US Navy where he served for 20 years spanning both the Korean and Vietnam wars. Upon retirement from the Navy, he became a Building Contractor in Tampa, Fl. Frank enjoyed camping with his wife Janice in their RV.
Frank is survived by his brother Joe Roncone and his wife Betty of Buffalo, NY, His Sister Sylvia Kennedy and her husband Tom of Venice, FL., His two sons Dennis Roncone of Orlando, FL., Michael Roncone and his wife Dorrie of Castle Hayne, NC., Two Granddaughters Jennifer Shoe and Tracey Bruns of Wilmington, NC. and Ginger Roncone of Lake City, FL., One Grandson Christopher Roncone of Wilmington, NC. Frank is also survived by nine Great Grandchildren and one Great- Great Granddaughter
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, March 24, 2024, at 2:00 PM at Peace Baptist Church 320 Military Cutoff Road. Pastor Rudy Shepard officiating.
