It is with heavy hearts and deep sadness that we announce the passing of Francisco Javier Madrigal, who left us peacefully on January 14, 2026.
He was born on May 17, 1933, in Grullo, Jalisco, Mexico. He was one of eight children. He came to the United States in 1960 and moved to Blythe in 1965. He worked as a cattleman in several feedlots and prior to his retirement he worked 10 years at Palo Verde Cemetery.
Javier was a loving and faithful husband who shared a life built on love, partnership, and mutual respect. He was a proud father of eight children. Throughout his life, he was a man of great integrity, a pillar of strength, love, always providing for his family and guiding them with wisdom, kindness, and a generous spirit. He found immense joy in the lives of his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren always leading by example with his work ethic, compassion, and unwavering love.
He is survived by his loving wife Magdalena, his children Ramiro (Carmen), Paty (Ernest), Gustavo (Magdaline), Oscar, Marisa, Myrna (Eli), Chavet (Chris). He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, 2 brothers, 3 sisters, many nieces/nephews, and friends. Preceded in death by his parents, his son Javier, brother, and sister.
Javier will be remembered as a devoted husband, father, Tata, and Super Tata whose love and legacy will live on through his family. He will always be in our hearts and never forgotten.
Services for Javier will be Saturday, February 7th at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church. Rosary starting at 9 a.m. and Mass starting at 10 a.m.
