Frank's Obituaries

Frank DiMeo, Sr., of Worcester formerly of Cranston, RI, passed away on Tuesday, February 5, 2013 peacefully with his family by his side.Frank is survived by his beloved wife of forty-six years, Frances M. (Tanona) DiMeo; his son, Frank DiMeo, Jr.; many nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by four sisters and three brothers.Frank was born in Cranston, RI.; a son of the late Cesere and Assunta (Palumbo) DiMeo. He has lived in Worcester for the past forty-six years. Frank served his country in the United States Army, overseas during the Korean War. He was the owner and operator of A. Adams Auto Parts and Admiral Auto Parts. Frank was a member of St, Joan of Arc Church and a former member St. Mary?s Church in Cranston, RI.Services for Frank will be held on Monday, February 11, 2013 from the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation St., Worcester with a Mass at 12:00 noon in St. Mary?s Church, 1525 Cranston St, Cranston, RI. Burial will follow in St. Ann?s Cemetery, Cranston, RI. A period of calling hours will be held on Sunday, February 10, 2013 from 3-6 p.m. in the funeral home. Flowers are welcome.
