Frank R. Egnoto, Jr., 92, passed away Sunday, August 31, 2025.
Frank was born in Syracuse, New York, on May 31, 1933. He joined the United States Air Force in 1953 where he served honorably for almost 22 years before retiring in 1974. He met the love of his life, Patricia Hunley, while stationed in D.C, in February 1956 and they married on August 18, 1956. While in the military, he served in Bermuda, the Kwajalein Island, Korea, Viet Nam, as well as multiple stateside assignments. He has been a member of the American Legion in Burkburnett for many years.
After retiring from the military, he worked for Siemens and Echo Meter. He bowled semi-pro while stationed in Yuma, Arizona, and remained an avid bowler for many years with his family. He always had a love-hate relationship with the Dallas Cowboys and although he’s been a closeted fan as of late, he still secretly hoped for another Super Bowl win (Go Patrick Mahomes - IYKYK)! Family always meant everything to him. He treasured every family gathering and being able to meet and know all of his great-grandchildren.
Frank was preceded in death by his parents, Frank Egnoto and Mary (Graziano) Egnoto. He is succeeded by his loving wife, Patricia Egnoto of 69 years; brother, Joseph Egnoto; daughter, Marie and her husband Jack; son, Frank and his wife Bonnie; daughter, Annette and her husband Kevin; grandson, Robby and his wife Vicki; granddaughter, Brittany and her husband Alex; grandson, Cody and his wife Audrey; granddaughter, Jenna; and grandson, Cole and his wife Taylor; and seven great-grandchildren, Katie, Criss, Ashlend, Jaxon, Madelyn, Carter and Alayna.
Visitation will be held from 6:00 - 7:30p.m., Wednesday, September 3, 2025, at Owens & Brumley Funeral Home in Burkburnett. A celebration of Frank’s life will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, September 4, 2025, in the chapel of Owens & Brumley Funeral Home in Burkburnett with Dcn. Dave Poole officiating. Frank will be interred at the Burkburnett Cemetery with full military honors.
