Frank's Obituary

Mr. Frank Millsaps Jr. "Conway" age 73 of Ridge Rd. Mineral Bluff passed away peacefully on Monday April 24, 2017 surrounded by his loving family following an extended illness. Mr. Millsaps was born on Jan. 15, 1944 in Robinsville, NC., the son of the late Frank Millsaps Sr. and the late Mamie Deputy Millsaps. Conway loved the American flag and eagles. He was a loving husband, father, brother, grandfather and great grandfather. He was preceded in death by his parents, five brothers and three sisters. Mr. Millsaps was of the Penticostal faith. Surviving Mr. Millsaps are his loving wife of seventeen years, Betty Joyce Broxson Millsaps of Mineral Bluff, two daughters and one son in law, Teresa Baxter of Murphy, Lisa and Kevin Baker of Canton, GA., two sons and daughters in law, Doug and Jenny Millsaps of Ranger, NC., Merle and Angela Millsaps of Charleston, TN., three step daughters and one son in law, Barbara Mashburn, Debbie and Kent Foster all of Mineral Bluff, Robbie Cornelius of Blue Ridge, two step son and daughter in law, Randy and Marnie Mashburn of Blue Ridge, Charles and Pattie Mashburn of Resaca, GA., one sister, Martha Ray, twenty seven grandchildren, twenty eight great grandchildren, many other relatives and friends also survive. Funeral services will be held on Thursday April 27, 2017 at 11:00 am from the Mount Herman Baptist Church with the Rev. Calvin Murphy officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will meet with friends at the funeral home on Wednesday evening from 6-9:00 pm. Mountain View Funeral Home of Blairsville is in charge of the arrangements.
