FRANKLIN's Obituary

IN LOVING MEMORY OF FRANKLIN CRUZ, JR.

1974 - 2025

With heavy hearts, we share the passing of Franklin Cruz, Jr., who left this world on March 15, 2025. Born in Manhattan, NY and raised in Brooklyn before moving to Ohio at the age of 11, Frank touched the lives of many with his humor, creativity, and boundless love.

Frank is survived by his mother, Ruth Maher (nee Martinez); his father, Frankiln Cruz Sr. (Sharon); his half-brothers, Angelo and Roberto (Trish); his stepbrothers, Daniel Maher (Kelly) and Patrick Maher; and his stepsister, Stephanie Neil (Kevin). He was preceded in death by his stepfather, Timothy J. Maher.

"Frank was more than a son - he was a best friend, a nephew, cousin, a brother, an uncle, and a soul who left a lasting mark on everyone who had the privilege of knowing him. His sarcastic wit could light up any room, his artistic talent as a graphic designer was as foolishly imaginative as it was brilliant, and his heart was filled with love and concern for those around him.

I was incredibly lucky to have you as my son. I will carry your love with me always.

Forever loved and deeply missed,"

Mom

Though Frank has left this world, his laughter, kindness, and artistic  spirit will live on in the hearts of those who loved him.

May he rest in peace.
