Franklin VogenitzAnderson – Franklin William Vogenitz, 86, of Foxfire Road, passed away, Tuesday, March 21, 2017 at Morningside Assisted Living. Born March 26, 1930 in Milwaukee, WI, he was the son of the late Louis and Helen Degner Vogenitz. He was a Veteran of the U.S. Army and received his Master's Degree from the University of Michigan. Franklin was an Aeronautical Engineer and Computer Science Engineer with several companies in California and Louisiana. He was a member of Concord Community Church. Surviving are his son, Bill Vogenitz and his wife, Kristin of Anderson and their three sons, Jack, Ryan and Rush. He was the last surviving member of his immediate family. A memorial service will be held at 2pm Saturday at Sullivan-King Mortuary. The family will receive friends following the service at the Mortuary, 3205 N. Hwy 81.In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Concord Community Church, 610 Concord Road, Anderson, SC 29621.Sullivan-King Mortuary www.sullivanking.com
