Not sure what to say?

I am very saddened to hear of Freddy's passing. My deepest sympathy goes out to the entire Summers family. I have many great memories of Freddy from our time together at college in SAE, many years of playing softball together, and multiple trips to the Indy 500. He will be greatly missed by everyone lucky enough to have know him. His unique and infection laugh will be forever in my mind.

We extend our deepest sympathies to the Summers Family for the loss of Fred Jr. who was taken far too soon. The entire Summers Family was blessed to have Fred Jr. in their lives as he was such an exceptional person.

I’m sorry to hear about Freddy’s passing. I spent a lot of time with Freddy growing up as he lived one street over from us in fountain Ridge. we played baseball football and basketball all summer growing up. The thing I remember about Freddy He was always moving and had funny funny stories. I remember he could still outrun everybody even the year broke his leg and was in a cast, I think riding dirt bikes. he was a good man and a good person.

Freddy was my teammate in football and track & field at Merrillville High School. Freddy was a great 110 & 300 hurdler in high school. We were both part of some great 1600 meter relay teams during the era of 1984-1986. I am so sorry to hear about his passing. He was a great athlete but an even better person. He always had great advice for me prior to the 400 meter dash. Freddy was just a kind person. Prayers to Lance and the rest of the Summers family. ~ D. Bunda
