The Christian Benevolent Funeral Home, announces with the deepest sympathy the transition of Mr. Freddie L. Christian Jr. 

One of the most gentle, kind and beloved person. Freddie L. Christian Jr. passed away on February 9, 2022 at Providence Hospital. Freddie was a native of Mobile, AL. He was a graduate of Central High School and obtained a degree from Carver Vocational College. He was a Certified Welder and Seaman. He also appeared in “Glory” with Denzel Washington and Morgan Freeman.

He is proceeded in death by his Father and Mother, Freddie Sr. and Elizabeth Christian. Brother–in-law, Leonard Wright, James Dunson, and Lonnie Braddy. He left behind 1 daughter, Frenasia Singleton and 4 grandchildren, Ron Lucky Jr., James Lucky, Rondale Lucky, and Antoria Bullard. 6 sisters, Diane (Walter) Craig, Doris Wright, Quenetta (Bobby) Pickett, Barbara Jean Dunson, Pamela (Joe) Hill, Ferna Braddy and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
