Frederick "Fred" D. Reese Jr.

Frederick “Fred” D. Reese Jr., age 70, of Fairless Hills, died Monday, August 16, 2021 at St. Mary’s Hospital in Langhorne, PA. He was the beloved husband of 30 years to Kathleen A. (Bauder) Reese. Born and raised, in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late Fred Reese Sr. and Janet (Lynd) Reese. In addition to his wife, Fred is survived by his two loving and devoted children Tara Secoda and John Secoda. Fred was also the caring “Pop-Pop” to Gavin, Emily, Madelyn, and Brayden. He will be greatly missed by his two sisters, Janet Wiedeman (Rick), Nancy Lapier and his mother in-law Emily Bauder, as well as his nieces and nephews.  Fred was a diesel mechanic for over 30 years and had a passion for cars. He especially loved working on larger vehicles such as school buses. His most recent job was with the Pennsbury School District as a night manager in the transportation department. Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing on Saturday, August 28, 2021 from 10:00 am – 11:45 am at Burns Funeral Home, 1514 Woodbourne Road, Levittown, PA 19057 followed by his service at 12:00 pm. A PRIVATE internment will immediately follow. Fred suffered a long battle with kidney disease and was awaiting a kidney transplant.
