Fred was such a wonderful person to have as a friend. He will be missed by all of us that nee him.

Fred was one of my best table tennis buddies. We met early in my table tennis career at a tournament in Springfield and quickly became friends. I knew Fred as a terrific table tennis player (former senior national champion) and a fabulous table tennis host who for several years organized regular games at his condo in Tampa and encouraged and motivated the players to enjoy and stay with the game and greatly improve from playing with him. Being friends with Joan and Fred for almost 60 years has been a gift! When we watch sunsets on the Gulf we will think of Fred. Prayers for Fred and the family he loved so much.

Even at age 80 Fred played pickleball like a champ. And he always had a smile and kind words of encouragement for his teammate. I'm glad to have met such a gentleman. Rest in peace, Fred.

Fred was always a delight to be in company with. His smile, conversations, and sharing his love for pickleball made it a pleasure to see him at any time. I will always remember him reaching out to us to extend an encouraging word with a heart full of love.
