Have known Fred since 1970 when we served on Trinity Lutheran Council in Clarks Summit. He was instrumental in assisting me to become a Master Mason in Waverly 301, then the Consistory and Shrine. He was always involved in the activities with these and other organizations.
He was even tempered and always had a smile. We played golf and enjoyed our ineptitude at the game.

I met Fred when I was an SE in Utica, NY. He was an expert in computers in hospitals, a major specialty. He helped me at the A Barton Hepburn Hospital in Ogdensburg, NY. Shortly after George Mohanco and I transferred to Scranton, I worked with Fred from 1971 or so til most of us SEs exited the company when IBM's business model changed. What a gentleman. Fred put in some time as an NMD SE Manager and he was a wonderful boss and one of the best people anybody could ever know. God bless Fred...

My deepest sympathy goes out to Carol (whom I went to grade school and high school with) and all of the family. Prayers for comfort at this difficult time. Diane ((Davis) Ferrerio.

I first met Fred at the Waverly Lodge 0301. He was very friendly and was a great Worship Master of our Lodge. RIP Brother.

I would like to send my sincere sympathy to the Pencek family. My heart is heavy with your loss. May he rest in peace, eternally.

Carol, just learned of Fred’s passing. I think you know I worked with him at IBM in Scranton. Simply put, Fred was always there to help you out, no matter what it was
To me that is a rare quality in a person today. We need more people like Fred. Even though he has left us, I know in the days ahead you will have many good memories to reflect back on
Thoughts and prayers to you and the family
