Not sure what to say?

Remembering Fred. He was one of my Sunday School teachers and supporting me with prayers when I was in seminary. "Eternal rest grant him, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine on him." Rev. Charley Lopez, Jr +

My name is Sonya. I was blessed with having the opportunity to be a caregiver and friend to a really great man. I'll admit that Fred could be quite the stinker sometimes but I also got to know the person he was. He liked to talk when I would get a spare moment. And I loved hearing his collection of music flow out into the halls when I was at work. Also, he liked to pull little jokes like acting as if he couldn't breathe because his oxygen tank was getting low. A treasure I will hold...

Alluring Elegance Bouquet

Fred married my 2nd Grade teacher, Miss Lau. He was one of our Youth Group counselors when I was 'a youth' at St Paul Dolton. I saw him again at his wife's funeral. Time passed and he showed up at Wittenberg Village in Crown Point. I got to see him on Sundays for Chapel service. I had not been around for a few weeks and was surprised to see his obituary in the paper.. I'm glad I was able to spend time with him while at Wittenberg.

I was saddened to learn of Fred's passing. I was blessed to know him while at Wittenberg Village. My sympathies to family and friends with prayers memories give comfort now and in the days ahead

I'm gonna miss you Fred. You were one of my favorite residents. I really enjoyed our little games we played when we saw each other in the halls. Try to stay out of trouble bud.

Oh Fred, Im going to miss our midnight conversations at Wittenberg. Thank you so much for letting me take care of you. Many hugs and much love to your family.
