Frosa Ivanov (nee Maneva) fell asleep in the Lord peacefully at home on Sunday, September 7, 2025, at the age of 79 years. Frosa was born on April 28, 1946, in the village of Mokrievo, Macedonia. Together with her love Srecko Ivanov, she immigrated to the United States of America in 1969 to Gary, Indiana. They then moved to Cleveland, Ohio and married in 1970.
Together with her husband she built a warm and loving home sharing her cultural heritage of her homeland with her family. She was a stay-at-home mom for 13 years. Frosa first worked at Richmond Brothers Suit Factory in Cleveland. She also worked at Athens Food, where she eventually retired after 25 years.
Frosa and her husband were founders and faithful members of Saint Clement of Ohrid Macedonian Orthodox Church community in Avon, Ohio. She enjoyed gardening, cooking and fishing with her husband and spending time with her family, her grandchildren and friends. Frosa touched the lives of many and leaves behind a legacy of kindness and strength. Her memory will forever be cherished by all who knew her.
She is survived by her loving husband of 55 years Srecko, children Vesna (Tome) Pezulev and Robert (Anne) Ivanov, grandchildren Zivko (Alexis) Pezulev, Sofija Pezulev, Luka and Marko Ivanov, sister Snezanka (Vanco) Najdenovski, nephew Goran (Michele) Najdenovski, niece Mirjana (Greg) Hughes, and many more nephews and nieces in Macedonia. Frosa is preceded in death by her parents, sister Zorka, sister Zujica, brother Mladen, and brother Mite.
Her family will receive friends on Thursday, September 11, 2025, at Saint Clement of Ohrid Macedonian Orthodox Church, 38665 French Creek Rd., Avon, Ohio 44011, from 4 pm to 8 pm. Parastas will be at 6 pm. Funeral service will be at the Church, Friday, September 12, 2025, at 10 am. The Very Reverend Father Dragi Trpevski, Pastor, will officiate. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery, 32789 Detroit Rd., Avon, Ohio.
