G.W.'s Obituary

 

G.W. Bean, Jr., 86, was born October 10, 1932 in Garvin, OK, the son of George William Bean, Sr. and Maudie (Coffman) Bean. He went to heaven to be with his mom and dad on February 24, 2019 at the age of 86. G.W. married Betty Geer in 1972. She preceded him in death. He was also preceded in death by three brothers and a sister.

G.W. was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving in the Korean War. He was the only sibling that graduated from high school and was employed for 23 years with Koch Industries in Kansas retiring as a supervisor. G.W.  was proud to be an Oklahoman even though he lived in Kansas for many years. He loved to fish and enjoyed gardening.

Survivors include: sons, Wayne Bean of Yukon, OK, Ernest Bean of Missouri and Randy Bean of Bethany, OK; daughters, Cathy Bean of Oklahoma City, OK and Debbie Kovash of Oklahoma City, OK; one sister, Louise Ozeretny of Oklahoma City, OK; numerous grandchildren and several great grandchildren along with many other relatives and friends.
