Very sad to hear of Garrett's passing, my condolences to the entire Hall family. My fondest memory of Garrett will always be riding home from Bike Week on our motorcycles. Rest in Peace my friend.

"I’ve known Garret for over 20 years. He was one of the kindest people I’ve met and was always there when someone needed help. He took care of my family’s cars more times than I can count, and never once made it feel like a burden. I’ll remember him as a generous, genuine friend who will be deeply missed."

So sorry to hear the news. Our prayers are with you.

John and Maureen, Pauline and I are beyond sad to hear of your loss. We know you were very close to Garrett.
We want you to know that our thoughts are with you during this most difficult period.

Garrett and my son Rob were both classmates and teammates. I have so many fond memories Garrett. I will be including all the Hall family in my daily prayers.

Garrett will always be in my heart. I am so glad he remained a friend and extended part of my family over the years. We were able to share some laughs and reminisce about the past and our history. I am grateful to have seen the happiness and pure joy that Maylee brought to his life. I am sending all of you love and the deepest sympathy.

Obituary

Garrett's Obituary

Garrett Thomas Hall, 56, a lifelong resident of Merrimack, NH, passed away suddenly at his home on Friday, August 8, 2025, after a brief illness. Born on December 17, 1968, he was the son of John T. and Maureen J. (Wyrwicz) Hall of Merrimack.

Garrett was a proud graduate of Merrimack High School, Class of 1988, and pursued his passion for cars at the New Hampshire Technical Institute, where he honed his skills in automotive mechanics. His love for cars extended far beyond his education, becoming the foundation of his life’s work. Garrett owned and operated his own auto shop, where he not only cared for his clients' vehicles but also spent countless hours working on his beloved drag racing car. His passion for cars was only rivaled by his dedication to his family and friends.

Garrett was an exceptional and devoted father to his daughter, Maylee Hall. Together, they shared an unbreakable bond, built on a love of creativity, and their shared enthusiasm for the outdoors. Garrett found immense joy in sharing his knowledge and passion for cars with Maylee, teaching her how to appreciate the beauty of mechanics and design.

He was also a member of the racing community, regularly participating in events at the New England Dragway, where his love for competition and speed was truly realized.

In addition to his parents and daughter, Garrett is survived by his daughter’s mother, Heather Dubois; his brother Nathan Hall and his wife Susana Hall of Merrimack; and his extended family, including Uncle Richard and wife Lynda Wyrwicz, Aunt Linda (predeceased by Peter Wyrwicz), Aunt Christine and Arthur Andon, Aunt Norma and Paul Angwin, and several cousins.

Garrett will be remembered not only for his undeniable talent and love for cars but also for his kind heart and willingness to help others. Whether it was fixing a car, sharing a story, or offering a hand to a friend, Garrett was always there for those who needed him.

Services will be held on Saturday, September 6th at 11:00 am at the Last Rest Cemetery in Merrimack, followed by a Celebration of Life at the John O’Leary Adult Community Center.

Garrett may have crossed the finish line too soon, but he lived his life in the fast lane—always full throttle, a quarter mile at a time. His legacy will continue to race on in the hearts of those who loved him.
