Garrett Hanson Headrick

I have many fond childhood memories of growing up next door to Gary. We would eat cherries, peaches, and apples right off the trees, and spend hours playing board games on my front porch with other neighborhood kids. We played catch and batted balls, although I’ll never forget the line drive he hit that I caught with my forehead—it really rang my bell! My memories are a little vague, because I was only six when we moved from 9534 Tennyson. But I remember the Headricks living next door to us, and if I recall correctly, they owned a small store across from All Souls Catholic Church. Thanks for a tour down memory lane. Hang in there, Matt

I met Mr Headrick through his daughter Laura, who is dear friend of mine I am proud to say. He will be greatly missed but never forgotten. His obituary said it all. He was an amazing man, a life well-lived with a fabulous story and family My heart and prayers go out to Laura, Mrs. Headrick and their entire family
