Gary Dewayne Cochran, 72, of Williamson, W, passed away on Monday, November 24, 2025, at the Pikeville Nursing and Rehab. Gary was born on November 13, 1953, in Williamson, WV the son of the late John Bunyon Cochran and Shirley Blevins. Gary worked for many years at Borden’s Dairy. He proudly served his country in the United States Air Force and was of the Pentecostal faith.
Gary is survived by his wife, Teresa Fern Cochran of Williamson, WV; his son, Joshua Cochran of Colorado Springs, CO and his two grandchildren, Hadley Cochran and Jemma Cochran; three step children, Shane (Mandy) Norman, Misty Fern and her children, Isaiah Leveque, Caanan Leveque, Josiah Leveque, Charity Leveque and Christian Leveque, Brandon (Brittney) Norman and their children, Sam Mullet, Selah Norman, Sadie Norman and Beckett Norman; brothers, Lladd Cochran, Carl, Andy, Greg, and Richard Cassady, and a host of other loving family members and friends.
Visitation for Gary will be held at the funeral home on Monday, December 1, 2025, and Tuesday, December 2, 2025, from 6-9 pm, with special services at 7 PM on Tuesday. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, December 3, 2025, beginning at 11 AM at the funeral home, with Mike Bostic officiating. Following the funeral Belfry D.A.V. Chapter #141, will conduct Military Rites. R.E. Rogers Funeral Home of Belfry, KY is serving the Cochran family. Online condolences may be made at rerogersfh.com.
