It’s hard to say goodbye to a man who has been a friend, neighbor, golf partner and a “brother” for many years! “Fantastic” was always Gary’s response when he was asked how he was doing. His regular phone calls typically began with “What are you doing?” We will miss those calls, dinners with Gary and Suzie, hearing his laugh and feeling his hugs and love. Gary loved his family and friends! He was so proud of his family. Gary was a special person and will be deeply missed. We love you,...

I had the privilege of getting to know Gary when I worked with his company and his people for a period of years. He was very good at knowing how to talk to you, making you feel very special and inspired you to always want to be better at all that you did. He was also just a lot of fun to be around. I am sure that he is making Heaven more wonderful. God bless him and his family.

Gary was so much more than a boss to me. I was truly lucky to know him. I’ll always be grateful for the time I spent with him. His kindness and presence meant more than I can put into words. He will always hold a special place in my heart. I will miss him dearly. My love and prayers go out to the Hartwig family.

I am sorry for the loss of Gary, he was always such a good friend and helped sponsor me into Meadowbrook. We met at the JCCA during early morning workouts and we always had some nice fun conversations. Gary has left a wonderful legacy as I knew how much he loved his family, Gary will be missed.

My condolences to Gary's wife and children. Met Gary several times through the connection between his Mother and my Father who enjoyed each others company later in their lives at the Willows. Always a gentleman and a doting son to his Mother. RIP.
