My sympathy to the Mitteness Family. Gary was a classmate, Benson High School, Class of 1969. We played trombone together in our Benson High School Band of Braves. Gary had a pleasing personality, a happy kid with just the most natural smile.

We always enjoyed talking to Gary when we would visit the Swift County Fair while his kids had animals at the fair. He was so happy and always took time to tell us about the cattle and cattle show. He always had a smile on his face. Our sympathies to his family.

I have good memories of my BHS Classmate, Gary Mitteness. He will be remembered for his ENTHUSIASTIC support of Polled Herefords, 4 - H Club, and livestock shows.
