Gary James Reppin

Gary James Reppin, 60, aformer Mendota resident,died Nov. 14, 2015, in St.Francis Medical Center, Peoria.There will be no funeral service.Visitation will be 5-7 p.m.Friday in Merritt Funeral Home, Mendota.Mr. Reppin was born June20, 1955, in Mendota toWilliam and Mary Lou(Biers) Reppin. He was a1974 graduate of MendotaHigh School and was a foremanwith the MilwaukeeRailroad until 1987.He was a member of theVFW and Moose Lodge. Hewas a loyal fan of theChicago Bears and Chicago Cubs.He had lived the past 18years with his sister, Sandy,and brother-in-law, Duanein Wyanet. He found a veryspecial happiness with hissister Sandy's three grandchildren.He is survived by hismother, Mary Lou Reppinof Mendota; three sisters,Sandy (Duane) Jones ofWyanet, Bonnie (Don) Saylorof Mendota and Robin(Benny) Lawson of Florida;three brothers, Steve(Kathy) Reppin of Mendota,Bill Reppin of Texas andDoug Reppin of Sparland;and nieces and nephews.He was preceded in deathby his father.Memorials may be directedto the donor's choice.
