Not sure what to say?

Our sincerest sympathies to the whole family for the loss of the gentle giant with a huge heart. One of the most helpful people I ever worked with at Carthage Elementary. God speed, Gene.

Virginia and Gene so sorry for your loss.

I am so sorry to hear of Genes passing Brenda, I know he will be missed by many, praying for peace for you all.

My sincere condolences to Gene's family and friends. I remember many conversations with Gene in the Carthage Elementary School Library over the years as we contemplated world problems. Thinking of those chats makes me smile as I remember how he generally summed up the topic of the day-he said it was pretty much all about common sense.

So very sorry for your loss my dear friend, thinking of you and your family Brenda XOXO

I worked for Gene for many years, he was not only the best boss ever he was kind and cared about everyone around him. I loved talking to him and hearing all of the stories he would tell. He was the only person that was ever allowed to call me by my full name. My heart goes out to his family
