Sending our thoughts and prayers.

What a loss but what a legacy he and Mrs. Carol left behind. He always made me feel like he was truly excited to see me and of course I was glad to see him. Randy, Patty, Robin, and Kelly, prayers and love to this wonderful family.

Living by Gene and Carol for over Eighteen year was to be associated with two great friends. Gene and I would fish the rivers in an all day fishing trip, something Gene loved to do.We would sit on his back porch in the swing drinking coffee and talk and watch deer.Gene was a great friend and he will be missed but we will see each other. In Heaven one day.

Growing up I was made to feel like one of his family. So many good memories. Condolences to all his family.

Our condolences to the family for the loss of your father. He was truly a pillar of this community and the church for many decades. He will be greatly missed.... just like Ms Carol. These two left a hugh imprint on this community.

One of the GREATEST men I have ever known and one of the GREATEST encouragers I had in 40 years of being a pastor. Ann and I will always be indescribably thankful for Gene and Carol´s friendship. We loved them both, more than words could ever express.

I met Gene on the football field in 1988 when he was a ref and I was coaching at Hope. I had a few regretful words for him and he took it like a pro. The next summer we moved to DeQueen and he was the chairman of deacons at FBC and recognized each other. He forgave me and we were good friends after that. I loved him dearly and will miss his friendship.
