Not sure what to say?

My sincere condolences to the family

Gene always told the sisters that he loved us because he knew we loved him. He had a good heart. A few of us had the privilege to see his authentic self. May "his girl", St. Therese the Little Flower escort him to his eternal home! See you on the other side someday, Gene!

Pray you got to keep on praying, cause only God can bring you through. Be blessed and be encouraged.❤

Sincere prayers and condolences to the family of Gene Arthur Smith Jr. God Bless You.

Andy and Cherry Lou,
I don’t even have words. But I do have so very many memories. From the White House across from the old fair grounds, The Slope in Smithfield, To family reunions at Aunt Ruth’s and living in Steubenville. So many good memories . Those that truly understood Gene understood him fully. I wish I would’ve said it to him more often that he wasn’t alone. . Life doesn’t stop to wait on us she keeps it moving. It’s gone in the blink of an eye. So I love you both very much...

Though our paths in life were separate, I honor the life and legacy of Gene Smith. I’m grateful for the part of him that lives on through Veronica, whose strength and kindness are a reflection of the best in him. May he rest in peace. Love you and may you continue to watch over us

He was a very good person Rip gene

May perpetual light shine upon him.
