Geneva Eggerson

Celebrating the Home Going of Gevena G. Eggerson, departing us here on Earth on February 2, 2023.  Geneva was a retired and dedicated 26 year employee of Crystals on Vine. She joined Greater Liberty Baptist Church in 1994 under the leadership of the late Rev. Walter L. Taylor, where she served faithfully as an usher for many years.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Etta T. Givens and Hannibal Jackson; sister, Loretta Givens; her husband; Herbert Eggerson, Sr.; and her son, Herbert Eggerson, Jr.

She leaves to cherish her precious memory, her daughter, Mary Ann Eggerson; inseparable twin sister, Jeanette Alexander; very special grandsons, Jason and Octavius Eggerson, granddaughters, Lashonda, Kendra and Quintina Eggerson. A host of nieces, nephews, great-grandchildren and other relatives and friends.
