Not sure what to say?

So very sorry to hear of Uncle George's passing. He was and always will be one of our favorites. We have hundreds of great memories spent with "Bullit" that will live on forever.

Please accept our deepest sympathy.

George's Obituary

George W. Benner Jr. "Doc", age 85, passed away on Sept. 9, 2012, at his residence surrounded by his family. Born and raised in Philadelphia, he later moved to the newly formed area of Levittown to raise his family. He was a U.S. Army Veteran of WWII, and a retiree of Local 997 where he worked as a Painter. He enjoyed fishing, horse racing, playing poker, boating, bowling in leagues, and golf; but most of all he loved the time he spent partying with his family. George will be sadly missed by his children Maryann Roach and her husband Bob, George Benner and his wife Lauren, Darlene Kramer and her husband Allen, Kenneth Benner and his wife Lisa, and Jean Benner. He is the loving Pop-Pop of Bobby and his wife Emily, Keith, Danielle, Jessica, Kenny Jr., Tiana, Mariah, Allen Jr., Julianna, Nicole, and Charlie; and great grandpop of Bryce, Colby, Brayden, Jordan, and Colton. He is also survived by 4 siblings and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. Relatives and friends are invited to gather Friday, 6-7pm, at the Galzerano Funeral Home, 3500 Bristol Oxford Valley Road in Levittown, followed by his funeral services at 7pm. Burial in Washington Crossing National Cemetery will take place at a later date.
