George was the husband of my childhood friend, Fran. He was a very nice man, and I enjoyed talking with him on the phone when Fran was unavailable. We lost Fran on January 5, 2024. I hope George and Fran are together in Heaven. May they both rest in peace.

Age 84, of Whitehall, formerly of Lawrenceville, passed away on Thursday, August 14, 2025. Husband of the late Frances A. (Donatelli) Ryan; father of Paul (Tricia) Ryan, Denise (Tom) Raidna and Darlene (Scott) Callan; step-father of Heather (Jeremy) Simpson and Christopher (Amy) Mavrodis; grandfather of 9; step-grandfather of 5; great-grandfather of 3; brother of the late Daniel Ryan, Charles Ryan and Dolores "Dolly" McClain; also survived by nieces and nephews.
George was a truck driver for SunFresh Produce. He was also a former member of the Moose Club in Lawrenceville.
Family and friends are welcomed at the WALTER J. ZALEWSKI FUNERAL HOME, 216 44th Street, Lawrenceville, on Sunday, August 17, 2025 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Funeral Mass at St. Pio of Pietrelcina Parish, St. Augustine Church on Monday, August 18, 2025 at 10:00 a.m.
