George John Fennell Jr. 72, of Worcester passed away Sunday, April 28, 2013, at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, after a valiant fight against idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis. He was the beloved husband of Dolores (McShea) Fennell, to whom he was married to for over 45.Born December 13, 1940 in Norristown he was the son of the late George John Fennell Sr. and Catherine McCabe Fennell He was a graduate of Malvern Prep, class of 1958 and a graduate of Villanova University class of 1962 earning his bachelor?s degree in industrial engineering. He served in the United States Marine Corp as a First Lieutenant. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children, George John Fennell III, Maureen Ellen Fennell, and James Joseph Fennell and his wife Malgorzata Fennell; his brother, Andrew Fennell and his wife Connie; brothers in law: Gregory Magee, Ralph Gilmore; his beloved grandchildren; Abby, Jack, Claire, Bryce, Harper, Tomek, Alek, Adam, and many nieces and nephews.He was predeceased by his siblings, Catherine Gilmore, Mary Eleanor MageeRelatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral Mass at 10:30am on Friday May 3, 2013, from St. Helena Catholic Church, 1489 Dekalb Pike, Blue Bell, PA. Friends may call for the viewing on Thursday, May 2 from 6-8pm at the R.L. Williams Jr. Funeral Home, Inc. Skippack Pike at Cedars Road, and again Friday morning from 9:30-10:30am at the church.
