To the whole family of uncle George:
We are so sorry for the loss that you are all going through. Things will get better with time. Just remeber, as long as you hold him in your heart and soul He will be with you.
May God Bless and watch over each and everyone of you today , tomorrow, and always. Family reunion were great and he will be missed dearly . I however, liked his upsided down pineapple cake
he use to make.

Darlene, mike & debbie. i was saddened and surprized to hear about Uncle George's passing. He was always a great friend to our family. i have fond memories of staying at your house during the summer. I was so glad to see him in 06 even though it was at mothers service. my love to you & your family.

George's Obituary

Canaan, NH -- George A. Grace Jr., 81, died in the comfort of his daughter's home with his family on saturday, August 4, 2012. He was born on March 7, 1931 in Canaan, NH to the late George A. & Lottie (Osborne) Grace Sr. George attended schools in Canaan and served in the US Army during the Korean War. He married Barbara Savoy on April 12, 1952 and they began their journey together. George retired from E.D. Swett Inc. of Concord, NH after thirty five years of dedicated service. During his retirement he did odd jobs and handy work for many people in town. He enjoyed playing guitar, yodeling and loved to dance. He and his family loved to camp on Grafton Pond during the summer months and later he enjoyed camping in his motor home especially with his granddaughter Marcia. He was a supporting member of the American Legion Post 55 of Canaan, NH.He is survived by his three children, a daughter, Darlene & Ed Morse of Canaan, NH, a son, Michael & Lauren Grace of Canaan, NH and a daughter Debra Grace Sanville of Charlestown, NH, seven grandchildren, George "Skip" Morse of Oceanside, CA, Marcia Morse of the US Navy, Great lakes, IL, Kevin Porter of Homestead, NC, Ryan Porter of Canaan, NH, Kelly (Porter) True of St. Petersburg, FL, Emma Sanville of Charlestown, NH and Travis Sanville of Charlestown, NH. He also had eight great-grandchildren.He was predeceased by his wife Barbara (Savoy) Grace, a daughter Diana Grace and all of his siblings, Alfred Grace, Elmer Grace, Elwin Grace, Howard Grace, Donald, Grace, Doris (Grace) Crate, Bertha (Grace) Withington, Hazel (Grace) Reed, Evelyn (Grace) Austin, Frances (Grace) Sears and Wesley Grace.Family and friends are invited to Calling hours at the Ricker Funeral Home in Lebanon on Thursday, August, 9, 2012 from 6-8 PM. A funeral will be held at the funeral home on Friday, August 10, 2012 at 2 PM. The Rev.
