Not sure what to say?

George was a good person in school we had the same birthday always kind and nice person RIP my friend

I was so sad to hear about George but rejoice in knowing he’s having a glorious reunion with Fred and James and all his hunting buddies and friends who have gone before .Fred and James had many wonderful hunting trips with George , especially to Canada . He was a truly kind and loving friend . God bless each of you and the memories you cherish .

A beautiful service for a beautiful person and family today, with so many friends there. I saw a V formation of ducks or geese flying towards the Valley Chapel when I was leaving later. The calls worked.

Prayers to the family

I had the privilege to know George and be his plumber he always friendly and kind and always has something to make you laugh. He was a special Man and a hard worker. The world would be a better place if there was more people like him.We all need a friend like him l will have his family in my prayers and he will never be forgotten.Buddy Mintz and Family.

I'm so sad and sorry about George's passing. Chip and George grew up together and were both skilled and enthusiastic outdoorsmen, sharing a great love and appreciation for God's beautiful nature and wildlife. George was such a thoughtful and generous friend to both of us and our children, James and Wallace, and was so supportive and kind when Chip died. He has touched many lives through the years with his bright smile and quick humor, a diligent businessman, loyal friend, and beloved family...

I met George when I started to work for his Father and his partner in the early 70's. I think he was around 15 I always referred to him as "Little Bud". Even though we were not in contact often it never failed if we ran into each other ...he would ALWAYS give me a big hug and we would share "old stories"
I was sorry to hear of his passing . I will always remember his smile and his hug.

I taught George in the sixth grade at Cape Fear Academy. He is all the wonderful things that have been said about him and more. He always had a big smile for me in the classroom, was pleasant, cooperative and hard-working as a student. Some students you never forget. And he is one I will not forget. To my friend Libby and all family and friends, I am so sorry for your untimely loss. God needed him more. Rejoice in the celebration of his life, one happily well-lived. Susan Davis Brooks

A man with a huge heart!
George was a caring friend that did his best to help others with his charming smile and great attitude.
