My dear sweet friend I miss my daily texts and I'm so thankful I came to visit you before you left this crazy world. George would often help me sing a few songs at our Mt Vernon UMC in Pert. He was a great friend and was loved by all that knew him!

Thank you George for teaching, but more than that ,being a friend to our parents in their last years, always being willing to travel out of town to eat catfish. Your kindness will always be remembered. Rest in peace and tell them we'll see them soon.

He was a delight to work with at PISD. He will be missed!

George was a remarkable person who devoted his life to the Lord, he had a compassionate heart, faithful believer and person with integrity, he was there for me during hospitalization few years ago. I was in Mr. McIntyre's Math class in middle school many years ago. He was a good teacher and am sure he had his fill of all of us pre-teens. Condolences to his family at this time of loss. May God bless you all.
