My heartfelt condolences to the Pawlyk family for your loss. I played in two bands with George, first a rock band, then for a short while as the only Italian in a Ukrainian festival/wedding band. Those are cherished memories for me. What a musical talent George was. Though through the years we lost contact, he surprised me last year with a visit to my office, I'm grateful that we had a chance to talk of old times, with promises of future get togethers.

I knew George in high school and college, and we were in a band together in our late teens. A truly talented guitarist at a young age, George dazzled everyone with his skills. But more importantly, he was a great friend to me and to many others. My deepest condolences to his family.
