We are so sorry for your loss Sybil and Kathy. We are heartbroken and are praying for you. George was a special man indeed, and we always enjoyed seeing him and visiting with him when he came by the shop. He was so very thoughtful and I (Sandra) can’t look at a fall mum or a geranium without thinking about George. I am so sorry for your loss and will keep y’all in my thoughts and prayers. I worked on the NCSHP under him in Orange/Durham County. He was an inspiration to me and taught what a true leader was all about!! RIP!!

We knew him as Bennett as my cousin’s husband. He was a wonderful man to all who were lucky enough to know him. One of our favorite memories was being with him & Sybil when we visited Wilmington. Bennett showed us his driving expertise on our way to dinner one evening. My husband John & I laughed that it was fun being in the car as he demonstrated top driving maneuvers of the NCHP. Bennett always took time for family. Heaven definitely gained an angel.
