Not sure what to say?

To George's family, I am so very sorry for your loss. I worked with George at McIntyre Shelter as a young highschool graduate. He was always kind and pleasant to work with

First and foremost my condolences to his family and loved ones. Coach Siford was truly a great man, he coached me from the little dribblers at age 5 all the way until I aged out of the sports programs. Most recently when my nephews became of age I got to revisit and reconnect with him at the Shadyside Boys and Girls Club. Even helping out with some of the same drills that I once did as a child for years. He was very fun, intelligent, and helpful! Now that I am an adult and coach I respect him...

Coach Siford had an indelible mark on not only my life, but also countless other youth in the East End. Coah Siford taught us lessons that I still remember and use to this day. We were fortunate to have a man that dedicated his life to serving the next generation and I can truly say that I'm a better person because of him. My condolences go to his family and everyone who knew him. God Bless.

Deepest condolences. to the family. God bless.

Coach Siford was an institution at the Shadyside Boys and Girls Club! He was loved and valued by all those children he came into contact with. Coach was a good man and will never be forgotten. I hope the organization sees the impact he had on the community by naming that gym after him in his honor. That will forever be "His" gym. Rest in paradise Coach.

One of the best, great ball player but a better person who will live in the hearts of many forever, spent four great years with George at Peabody watching him on the field of play and carried his knowledge of life and athletics to the youth of the area. Condolences to the family and Rest in Peace my friend, gone but not forgotten.
