George was a true gentleman , who truly loved his little sister , Darla .
Soon after he started earning at Fisher Body , he bought her the first prom dress of her life .
She treasured that memory for the rest of her life .

You have my deepest sympathy. Sonny was a good person who I respected and enjoyed talking with. When I lived in Clairton, we saw each other in church on Sunday’s during the 60’s. Also, I will never forget the kindness he displayed toward my mother after my Dad passed. He would pick her up and take her to church which she really appreciated. He will be missed by all.

Uncle George was larger than life to me and my family. A man who radiated positivity, kindness, dignity, strength, and class. Uncle George was a great man, even by the standards of a great generation. Words cannot possibly do a man of his stature justice, except to say that he was the most well respected and dignified man you could ever hope to meet.

You will be dearly missed Uncle George. Our deepest condolences go to Diane and family.

George was the epitome of a good man and a life well lived . He certainly loved his little sister Darla (my late wife , whose service was also at Gilbert , in late March 2006) . I am certain that you rest in peace , George !
