Georgia Mae Tiggs

Georgia Mae Tiggs, 74, of Jonesboro, Arkansas, passed away June 7, 2025 at her home.  Ms. Tiggs was born June 7, 1951, to the late George Ward and Aggie Morgan Ward.  She was of the Baptist Faith.  She was preceded in death by both of her parents, two daughters, Katherine Jackson and Diane Jackson, five brothers, Iassac Jackson, Nathaniel Jackson, James Ward, George Ward, Jr. and Jessie Ward, and two sisters, Leonora Anderson and Mattie Woodson.  Ms. Tiggs is survived by three sons, Anthony (Angela) Johnson of Wilson, Arkansas, Desor Perkins of Elkhart, Indiana, and Marvin (Rhonda) Ward of Lepanto, Arkansas, and two daughters, Annette Gray of Jonesboro, Arkansas and Malissa Ward of Elkhart, Indiana, 28 Grandchildren, a host of great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.  Visitation will be Saturday, June 21, 2025, from 12-2 PM at Bethlehem M.B. Church in Osceola, Arkansas, with the funeral to immediately follow at 2 PM.  Deacon Marvin Ward will be officiating.  Burial will be at Whiteside Cemetery in Osceola, Arkansas.  Wilson Funeral Home will be in charge of the arrangements.
