Mrs. D was not only an amazing school and bible teacher, but also an incredible example of what it looks like to dedicate your life to God and serve him to the best of your ability. Her homeschool provided a safe place for me to go during a dark time in my life, without which I am unsure of where I would be today. I am regretful I didn’t spend as much time with her before she passed, but I am looking forward to seeing her in heaven!

GEORGIANA's Obituary
Georgiana Dannheiser, 76, of Corydon, Kentucky, went to be with the Lord on Friday, November 7, 2025.
She was born in Evansville, Indiana, on January 28, 1949, the late George and Frieda Dannheiser. Georgiana graduated from Henderson County High School in 1967 and then attended the former ISUE in Evansville, where she received her Master’s Degree in education. She taught in the Henderson County School System and the Henderson Christian School System. She was a member of Advanced Baptist Church, where she taught Sunday school. Georgiana loved the Lord and volunteered with many Henderson community services including Outreach, Children’s Advocacy Center, and at nursing homes.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one infant brother, George Jacob Dannheiser.
She is survived by cousins, including her caretakers, Jerry and Carolyne Pruitt of Corydon, Kentucky.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, November 12, 2025, at Fernwood Cemetery in Henderson, Kentucky.
There will be no visitation.
Rudy-Rowland Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
