Gerald’s life was a beautiful symphony of love, music, and carpentry. His guitar may be silent now, but its echo will live on in the hearts of all who had the joy of hearing him play.

I met Jerry in Hollywood, CA on April 14, 1969. He told me about a small home church where I could get a free meal. I went that night and my life changed forever, by accepting Jesus as my savior. God used Jerry and I am forever thankful.

Wow , I've known Him since 1970
We became friends. It was an interesting time in our lives and I enjoyed seeing him playing guitar and singing. Him and I were roofers for a time and we had such good times. One day on the hot Arkansas heat on a roof we saw the clouds coming and he yelled out , come on rain.
When it was to cold to roof we would watch the gong show and we would laugh.
We would go to Wendy's to get coffee because it was the only place to get coffee for a nickel that's all we had .
Once we were painting and it was late and the fumes were buzzing us out so we took a break.
I looked over and he had a set of head phones on and he was playing guitar. I went over and said what are u playing. He handed me the headphones and it was turned up to 10 with amazing distortion lol
Fabulous.
We kinda stayed in touch I did spend some time in Pennsylvania and we jammed, I was nervous because he was so good. He stopped playing and said Rich chill I can see you can play really well.
Anyway enjoy Heaven.
Thanks for so many sweet times.
Rich
