Gerald "Jerry" Ashker Sr.

We first met Jerry when we were thrust into service at Community Christian Concern when Johnel became in charge of Janet’s Corner the thrift store associated with the charity agency and food pantry. I worked with others who drove about the area for donations.

Jerry’s character was one of the most giving but also toe the line with unbendable rules. He from the beginning for me was mentor/father/ and brother (in Christ as well). He lead me into several years of duty with the Coast...

My father, Rich Ashker, and mother, Kathy Ashker, apologize for not making it to the services as they are out of the country. They will miss Jerry greatly and thank Cindy for the loving care she provided him.
