Not sure what to say?

Awe Jerry I will miss you. I’ve cut your hair for 20 plus years had great conversations every time. I’ll miss your dog in my driveway waiting as you got your hair cut.

Ski poles and position.
Tune out the noise.
Focus.
You control your speed...
your trajectory.

Patient and calm.
Instructional
in vision down the
hill
in lower Michigan
on a snowy December-
or was it January?
night.

I ground in the
muscle memory of
your lesson
and unpacked it
in Colorado,
in Utah,
in California.
Don't forget
Canada.
Or the U.P.

Thank you for...

Jerry will be greatly missed. He helped me back on the road to sanity. I will always remember the picnics at his place and looking for the ski poles to his driveway. Rest in Heaven my friend.

Jerry always a joy to run into you...always brought a smile to my face...your presence will be missed

My best friend and Sponsor in AA for the past eight years. You were always there to keep me on track and I miss you everyday.

Jerry Burge, Mitch Thompson, Todd Sprague

Jerry was a great friend and mentor! He taught me how to ski and how to garden. He will be missed.

We would like to offer our deepest sympathy to family and friends
He will remain forever in our hearts and memories

We have lived in Jerry’s neighborhood for 34 years. I didn’t know him well, but I do know he was extremely kind to the grandson of Gloria Callahan, the original resident of the island. He spent time with him, taught him to ski and took him skiing frequently. He was a good friend to both Mitchell and his mother Paulette. I’m sorry for your loss.

We were so honored to have met Jerry and will always remember him smiling and dancing. Praying for comfort for Suzy, his family and friends during this incredibly difficult time.
Sincerely,
