Reser Funeral Home, Warsaw

Gerald D. "Bub" Jackman, age 68, of Warsaw, passed away Monday, December 17, 2012 at his home.  He was born on July 10, 1944 in Warsaw, Missouri, the son of James and Bernice (Flippin) Jackman. 

He grew up in Sunnyside, Washington in his youth and then moved back to Warsaw and graduated for Warsaw High School in 1962.  He worked on the Truman Dam until its completion in 1975 He worked for Frucon as an Area Construction Superintendent until he retired in 2002.  He returned to Warsaw where he farmed and ran cattle.  He was a driver for the Warsaw Senior Center and served on the Cross Timbers Volunteer Fire Department Board.

He is preceded in death by his parents, three sisters; Betty Crowe, Vonnie Smith and Grace Hallman and one brother Clifford Jackman.

He is survived by four children; Theresa Jackman, of Midlothian, Texas, Melissa Starr, of Dayton, Texas, Debbie Price and her husband David, of Pensacola, Florida and Gary Jackman and his wife Yvonne, of Humble, Texas, twelve grandchildren; Keith Heintschel and his wife Jennifer, Heather Heintschel and Cheree Schultz, all of Midlothian, Texas, Charles Starr, Eileen Jackman and Gerald Perez, all of Dayton, Texas, Michael Price and his wife Rachel, of Tallahassee, Florida, Gary Price, and his wife Jennifer, of Pensacola, Florida, Dalton, Devin, Dylan and Haylee Jackman, of Humble, Texas, six great-grandchildren; Audrey, Georgia, Braden, Payton, Zayden and Harmonnie, one brother Bob Jackman and his wife Lynn, of Endeavor, Wisconsin, two sisters Mary Crouch, of Hermitage, Missouri and Pat Lindsey, of Calhoun, Missouri and a special friend, Sharon Starnes, of Racket, Missouri  

Funeral Services for Gerald D. "Bub" Jackman will be held at 1:00 P.M. Friday, December 21, 2012 at the Reser Funeral Home, in Warsaw.  Visitation will be held two hours prior to the funeral services beginning at 11:00 A.M.  Graveside Services and Interment will be held in the Shawnee Cemetery.  Memorial contributions may be made to the Benton County Cancer Fund or Benton County Hospice.Link to Facebook
