Jerry was a good friend to my husband, Roger and myself. We shared many laughs together. He will be deeply missed.

We lived on Adams Street in Westmont and Jerry was a friend [mostly] to my brother, David. He always said he wanted to be a cop. Did his dream come true?
I remember him as a nice guy. I'm sorry to see he died so young.
I will be praying for all those whose hearts are breaking because he is now gone.

Jerry was a funny and kind person. Everyone I have told of his passing, has told me how kind he was to them. We had such fun times in high school. He will be truly missed.

Gerald "Jerry" Budyn, age 59 of Westmont, born in Hinsdale on January 29, 1955,passed away peacefully at home Thursday, Oct 16, 2014. Jerry was the Beloved Brother of Patrick (Dinah) Budyn, Dorothy (Thomas) Nowik, and Gloria (Bill) Meyer;Cherished uncle of six; Tracy, Eric,,Kristie Laura, Cindy, Sherri and fond great-uncle of twelve:Trevor, Sean, Breck, Cade, Jake, Vanessa, Rachel, Megan, Emily, Sophia, Niko + one other.He was preceded in death by his parents Margaret and Stanley Budyn.Jerry was a Graduate of Downers Grove North, and had an Associate in Arts Degree from COD.
