Gerald's Obituaries
Gerald (Jerry) Matsen, 77, passed away peacefully on November 10, 2013. He was born on March14, 1936 in Moscow, Idaho to Gilbert and Emma Mae Matsen. He graduated from the University of Idaho. After College, he served 4 years in the Army. He worked at Sperry Univac for 33 years as a Logistics Engineer. On May 7, 1965 he married Ruth Madsen. He loved to golf and bowl and loved to watch his son, John and grandson, Brady off road race.He loved getting together with his family and friends. He especially loved his little dog, Mandy.He is survived by his Wife, Ruth. Daughter, Rosie (Dale) Champion, Sons, John (Pam) Sessions, Chris Matsen and his Sister, Janet Farmer, 15 Grandchildren and 20 Great Grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his Parents, Daughter, Julie and Daughter-in-Law, Lesa.Graveside Services will be held on Friday, November 15, 2013 at 12:00 PM at the Bountiful City Cemetery.
