Not sure what to say?

GERALD WAS ONE OF THE BEST FRIENDS I EVER HAD. IF DANNY OR I EVER NEEDED HIM FOR ANYTHING HE WAS THERE. WE STARTED WORKING TOGETHER IN 1967 AT THE LUMBER COMPANY AT RANDAL'S CROSSING. A FEW YEARS AFTER THAT WE BOTH WENT TO WORK AT GREEN TREE MFG. IN LUMPKIN. I WORKED THERE WITH HIM UNTIL THE EARLY EIGHTIES. IF HE HAD SOMETHING SOMEONE NEEDED IT WAS THEIRS BECAUSE HE WOULD GIVE IT TO THEM. HE WILL BE MISSED.

Maybe thirty years ago, I had some cows get out on US27. It was late on a cold January afternoon. I was sort of panicking, because the cows were not cooperating with me, and the sun was going down, and, of course, it was COLD.

We are very sorry to learn of Gerald's passing. Condolences to his family.

Gerald was a wonderful friend. He will be missed---and not only by a few, with me being one, but by many. Preston and Webster County was a better place because Gerald was a part of it.

May God give you all the peace that only He can. We know grief can be hard, however you can hold on to your special memories as the days pass. We are remembering you in our thoughts and prayers during this time of sorrow. May God bless you all now, and in the days to come.

Gerald was a classmate of mine throughout most of our elementary and high school years. He was always full of life and good humor and a true friend. I am saddened to learn of his passing. I would like to extend my sincere condolences to Gerald’s family and loved ones.

Gerald was my very good friend for many years. I loved him so very much and he loved me the same. I will miss him dearly. It's hard to think about this world without him in it but I know that he's in a much better place. He was a Christian and was ready to meet Jesus. I will see him again one day and what a wonderful day that will be!

I need Gerald for many years from school and meeting at Moms Kitchen where we talked especially after my wife passed away

Mr Jerry will be missed. This man was so sweet and giving. Had a heart of GOLD.. He has been a part of our family for many years and we love him so. I know he and Uncle Wesley Weaver are up there talking about timber...
