Geraldine Glover Crumbliss

Geraldine (Gheri) Crumbliss was born to the late Ethel Louise Glover and Dewey Alton Glover, November 29, 1938, in Leon County, Florida. She was the second oldest of six children and had an everlasting and special bond with her brothers and sisters. She spent many years as a Physical Therapist at Sunland Hospital where she made many memories with her patients and remembered them fondly through the years. She eventually retired from Center Pointe Health & Rehabilitation. After retirement, she traveled the States making memories with her husband Richard, brother and sister-in-law Luke and Shelia Glover. Her favorite pastime was gardening flowers. She could make anything grow, even if it looked like there was no hope. She was a wife, mother, and NaNa but first and foremost, she was a Child of God. Gheri was a member of Lakewood Baptist Church for many years. She frequently mentioned how much she missed attending church, despite her dementia-related memory loss. She always kept her bibles nearby.

Geraldine’s Legacy will always be cherished by her daughter: Cynthia Perkins (Anthony); grandchildren: Brandon Parramore, Destiny Harvey (Charles), and Jordan Bird (Marissa); six great-grandchildren: Landon, Bentley, Elliott, Everley, Kai, and Charlie Eloise; sister: Bessie O’Neal (David); brother: George Glover; and, a host of nieces and nephews.

Geraldine was predeceased by her parents: Ethel & Dewey; first love & husband: Charles Sarvis; dedicated & loving second husband: Richard Crumbliss; brothers: Huey and Louie; and sister: Pansy.
