Gerri and I were starting teachers at Sorteberg (Northdale) Elementary at about the same time. She came to my students as their Art Teacher. She was so kind and patient, but always exciting in her pedagogy. I loved staying in the classroom as she taught, and learned so much from her. We needed to follow up her lessons so the kids could finish up the big ideas Gerri began with them. Godspeed, Gerri.

Gerri had such a sweet spirit and was loved by all.

Dear Pat, I am very sad to hear about the loss of Gerri. I'm not surprised to see that she was so loved by family, friends and students. Her gentle and caring personality was a gift to all she touched. Please know that you are in my thoughts always.

Patrick I am so sorry to hear about the loss of Gerri. I always enjoyed the time I was able to spend with her during various Community Action events and conferences. She was a lovely lady and loved you so! My deepest sympathy to you.
